Job summary

Brio Living Services in Chelsea, MI is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing and rehabilitation team. Schedule features no mandated rotations, with weekends and holidays required; shifts from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm and 10:31 pm to 7:00 am include premium pay, and paid on an hourly basis.

Responsibilities include direct/indirect nursing care under the Director of Nursing, handling complex clinical situations, and ensuring high-quality patient care for residents.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (LPN).
Active State of Michigan LPN License.
CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire.
Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail and elderly.
Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
Tasks involving more than 50 lbs. require assistance or assistive equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients.
Work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing or designee while independently applying advanced nursing knowledge and skills.
Manage complex clinical situations and ensure high-quality patient care.
