Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Plymouth, MA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our per diem team. In a warm, home-like setting, you will deliver nursing care to residents and collaborate with a caring team to maintain safety and comfort.

We offer flexible per diem hours with an hourly rate of $34–$38, plus benefits and supportive training. Ideal candidates will have an LPN license, CPR certification, and 1–2 years’ nursing experience, preferably with the elderly.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of nursing experience; elderly care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
• Observe and report changes in resident health to the care team.
• Direct and supervise daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Prevent elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation and report per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and call for backup when needed.
