Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. The position offers pay ranging from $37 to $39 per hour with same-day or next-day pay options.

Active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR are required, along with a recent PPD. Per diem shifts provide flexibility and frequent opportunities to coordinate with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD (tuberculosis) test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
