Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for per diem positions across Hampton Roads, VA. Pay is $37.00–$39.00 per hour with same-day or next-day pay options and potential weekly pay. Local applicants welcome and per diem flexibility is noted.

Required are an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility experience, current BLS/CPR, and a recent PPD. Join FCN’s per diem team for varied shifts and facility staffing support.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
