Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for per diem assignments across Hampton Roads, Virginia. The role offers hourly pay of $37-$39 and the option for same-day or next-day pay, with potential bonuses after shifts and flexible scheduling.

As an FCN Per Diem LPN, you will provide nursing care, administer medications, document patient information, and coordinate with healthcare teams. Local applicants preferred; EOE.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. No weight restrictions

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
