Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications, document patient information, and coordinate with other healthcare providers.

The positions offer per diem hours with same-day or next-day pay, competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour, and weekly pay. Local applicants only; BLS/CPR and an active LPN license are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
