Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads, Virginia. We offer competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour and per diem scheduling with same-day or next-day pay options.

Per diem roles provide local shifts with flexibility and potential for full-time hours. An active LPN license, a minimum of 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and a PPD within the last year are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
