Job summary
First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem positions with competitive pay and flexible scheduling are available, including possible full-time hours.
We offer weekly pay and supportive local staffing coordinators. Responsibilities include providing nursing care within the LPN scope, administering medications, documenting patient information, wound care, and coordinating care with other
Qualifications
- Active LPN license.
- Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
- Current BLS/CPR.
- PPD within the last year.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. No weight restrictions.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collect and document patient information.
- Provide wound care and patient education.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
- Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
