Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. This role offers per diem scheduling and fast payments.

As an LPN, you will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications and treatments, collect patient information, provide wound care and education, monitor changes, assist with activities of daily living, coordinate with the care team, and support facility needs.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
