Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA seeks experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling and dependable pay.

Typical duties include providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, wound care, and coordinating with the healthcare team. Active LPN license and current CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license and current CPR/BLS required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• PPD test within the last year is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collect and document patient information accurately.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living when needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other staff.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
