Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Per diem, $37-$39/hour, with Same-Day or Next-Day Pay options and rapid pay features.

Active LPN license and at least 1 year of facility-based experience are required, along with current BLS/CPR and a recent PPD. Local applicants preferred for flexible scheduling and reliable shifts.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• At least 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test updated within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
