Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, administer medications, and coordinate care with healthcare professionals.

Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a potential hiring bonus after completing 2 shifts; local staffing coordinators are available 5 AM-11:30 PM to assist with placements.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
