Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and coordinate care with the health care team across facilities.

We offer per diem scheduling with Same-Day or Next-Day pay, a hiring bonus after completing 2 shifts, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling options. Local staffing coordinators are available to support you during shifts.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
