Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Earn hourly pay with flexibility and per diem scheduling.

Competitive pay at $37-$39/hour with potential for rapid payday options and weekly pay. Requires active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and a current BLS/CPR certification. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians and other providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
