Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Per diem positions offer competitive hourly pay of $37.00-$39.00, with same-day or next-day pay and weekly compensation.

We provide flexible scheduling and local staffing coordinators available 5 AM-11:30 PM. Active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and BLS/CPR are required to join the team in Hampton Roads, VA.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
