Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Position offers $37-$39/hour, per diem shifts in Hampton Roads, VA, with same-day or next-day pay via RapidPay Card and a flexible schedule. Active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based work, and current BLS/CPR required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license, current BLS/CPR.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
