Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem schedule with competitive pay $37-$39/hour and same-day/next-day pay options.

We offer flexible scheduling, local staffing coordinators, and opportunities for full-time hours.

Active LPN license, 1 year facility-based exp, current BLS/CPR, PPD within last year, and ability to meet physical requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
