Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA seeks experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for per diem shifts across Hampton Roads. This role offers per diem hours with same-day or next-day pay, weekly payroll, and flexible scheduling to fit your commitments.

Required: active LPN license, minimum 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the position. Local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
