Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. The role offers per diem scheduling with competitive pay between $37 and $39 per hour and benefits like same-day or next-day pay.

Active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility experience, and current BLS/CPR are required, along with PPD in the last year and the ability to meet physical demands. Local applicants only; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based clinical experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
