Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA seeks experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for Per Diem shifts in Hampton Roads, VA. Eligible candidates will hold an active LPN license and have at least 1 year of facility-based nursing experience. Current BLS/CPR and a recent PPD test are required.

Wound care, med administration, and daily patient documentation are key duties. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling, potential weekly pay, and local staffing coordinators to support you.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
