Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. The role offers hourly pay and per diem scheduling with same-day or next-day pay options.

Qualified candidates will hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility experience, and possess current BLS/CPR. PPD within the last year is required, with the ability to meet physical demands of the job.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• 1 year of facility-based experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD within the last year is required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
