Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Per diem shifts offer competitive pay and flexible scheduling, with same-day or next-day pay options.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and possess current BLS/CPR certification. PPD within the last year is required, with no weight restrictions for the role.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD (TB test) within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
