Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced LPNs for Per Diem positions across Hampton Roads. Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, and coordinating patient care with the healthcare team.

Applicants must hold an active LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. PPD within the last year is required. Local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
