Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced LPNs for per diem assignments across Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem scheduling offers flexibility and local support from staffing coordinators.

Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, and patient education, with attention to changes in condition and multidisciplinary coordination. Active LPN license and BLS/CPR are required, with at least one year of facility-based experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
