Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking licensed practical nurses to join our per diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. The position offers competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour with same-day or next-day pay options.

Per diem work provides flexible scheduling and the potential for full-time hours. Local staffing coordinators are available from 5 AM to 11:30 PM to assist with placements and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
