Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. This position offers hourly pay in the $37.00–$39.00 range and flexible scheduling for per diem work.

Benefits include Same-Day or Next-Day Pay with RapidPay Card, a Hiring Bonus after two shifts, weekly pay, and local Staffing Coordinators available from 5 AM to 11:30 PM. Local applicants only for this role.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD (Tuberculosis test) within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
