Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, Virginia. This role offers flexibility with per diem hours and competitive pay of $37–$39 per hour, plus same-day or next-day pay options and potential bonuses after initial shifts.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements; no weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
