Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications, document patient information, and support care coordination with other healthcare professionals.

Active LPN license and at least 1 year of facility-based experience are required, along with current BLS/CPR and recent PPD.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• PPD test within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
