Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem available with potential for full-time hours and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include administering medications, providing wound care, documenting patient information, and coordinating care with the healthcare team. Requires active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
