Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in Naugatuck, CT is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee health and nursing care for individuals served. The LPN will ensure compliance with state regulations, provide training and support, and assist staff, providers, and families.

Shift is 1st shift, hours per diem, pay $30-45 per hour. Must have an active nursing license in CT, strong communication, and computer literacy.

Qualifications

Active nursing license in the state where you work.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Experience with diabetes care strongly preferred.
Must have demonstrated computer literacy.
18 years of age or older.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and system.
Ability to pass and maintain required trainings.
Must have an active nursing license in the state you’re working in.
Must have satisfactory background checks
Valid driver's license and safe driving record

Responsibilities

Oversee the quality of health and nursing care for individuals served.
Ensure compliance with state regulations and Aspire policies and procedures.
Provide on-going consultation and support to individuals, staff, providers, coordinators and family/guardians.
Assist with training and education on essential health matters.
May be part of staffing minimums within the group homes.
