Rutgers University is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (Medical) for South Woods State Prison in Bridgeton, NJ. The RN directs care; the LPN provides skilled nursing, administers treatments, and maintains a safe therapeutic environment in a correctional setting.

The role requires NJ LPN licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license to travel between sites. Per diem, onsite work with rotating shifts, pre-employment screenings, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid LPN registration in New Jersey.
• CPR Certification.
• Valid Driver's License; own vehicle or alternative transport between sites.

Responsabilités

• Participates in data collection related to patient status and communicates with the RN for care planning.
• Provides direct patient care within scope of practice and follows the plan of care.
• Informs patients and significant others about health status and care plan.
• Assists patients with discharge preparation and home health maintenance.
• Documents all aspects of patient care.
