Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse for East Jersey State Prison in Rahway, NJ. The role provides total patient care under RN supervision in a correctional setting, with rotating shifts and onsite work arrangement.

Qualified candidates must hold NJ LPN registration, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Prior acute hospital experience is preferred and mobility between sites may be required.

Formación

• Possession of a valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required. Must possess own vehicle or alternative means of transportation from one site to another.

Responsabilidades

• Provides total patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Administers treatments and procedures within guidelines.
• Informs and instructs patients on health and plan of care.
• Documents all aspects of patient care.
• Works with health care professionals and security officers in a correctional environment.
