Job summary

Geisinger Convenient Care is a walk-in clinic providing quick, convenient healthcare for patients’ family health needs, including physicals, immunizations and minor illnesses. Care is available to individuals aged one and older.

We are seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for per diem coverage to support providers and ensure timely, compassionate care. Typical shifts include Monday through Friday 8:45 am to 8:15 pm, with weekend options; new or experienced LPN applicants welcome.

Qualifications

• LPN license in good standing is required.
• Experience in clinical settings is preferred but not required.
• Ability to collect specimens and assist in examinations as directed.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary clinical support to the provider, patient and family.
• Prepare patients and examinations; document history and vital signs.
• Administer medications and vaccines under provider supervision.
• Maintain asepsis and clean treatment areas between patients.
