Geisinger Convenient Care is a walk-in clinic that provides quick, convenient healthcare when patients need it. Our Clinic treats minor health issues that can be resolved in a single visit, including cold and flu symptoms, allergies, sprains, strains and minor cuts. Care is available to anyone age one and older.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)

Responsibilities

• Provides primary clinical support to the provider, patient and family.
• Obtains and documents patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and basic data for provider.
• Provides direct clinical care as directed by provider.
• Assists provider in minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic exams.
• Collects and prepares laboratory specimens and associated paperwork.
• Administers medications and vaccines under provider direction.
• Cleans and sets up examination and treatment rooms between cases.
