Job summary

Town of Nantucket’s Our Island Home is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care to residents with compassion and professionalism.

Required MA nursing license, accredited program completion, and long-term care experience preferred. Must lift 50 lbs and communicate in English. Per diem, no benefits, non-union position based in a nursing home environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice nursing in Massachusetts.
• Completion of an accredited nursing licensure program.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Fluent in English.
• Work is in a nursing home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents in a compassionate, professional manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
