Job summary

COMHAR is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Consultant for per diem school-based services in the Philadelphia area. You will provide person-centered behavioral support for children and youth with mental health needs in homes, schools, and community settings, implementing treatment plans and promoting independence and well-being.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve meaningful outcomes and CASSP principles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling.
• Licensed Behavioral Consultant practicum accepted with a graduate degree in related field.
• ABA services experience with supervision by BCBA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and direct implementation of individualized behavioral plans.
• Conduct client assessments within 15 days of service initiation.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and clinicians to coordinate care.
• Provide monthly peer reviews with licensed psychologist and adjust plans as needed.
