Job summary

COMHAR, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Consultant to provide individualized behavioral support to children and young adults facing mental health challenges. In this per diem role, you will implement treatment plans and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams in homes, schools, and communities.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, along with at least one year of relevant experience in mental health services.

This role emphasizes positive behavior promotion, fostering independence, and ensuring community integration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing mental health direct services.
• Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum.
• Experience providing ABA services under supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments and develop intervention plans.
• Collaborate with treatment team to ensure plan implementation.
• Conduct regular documented peer reviews.
