Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA is seeking an Associate Laboratory Assistant on a per-diem basis. You will perform routine non-technical and a moderate amount of technical work in the clinical lab, with 8-hour variable shifts onsite.

Under supervision of the Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing Supervisor, you will maintain clean lab areas and equipment, assist with specimen handling, and support the team in delivering accurate patient care.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• California Phlebotomy Technician I or II license required at hire.
• Laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine non-technical and a moderate amount of technical work in the clinical lab.
• Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Carries out related tasks as required.
