Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks an Invasive Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist (Per Diem). Responsibilities include assisting with cardiac catheterization, preparing and operating imaging and life-support equipment, and monitoring radiation exposure. Requires ARRT credential, BLS, 5+ years in related procedures.

Qualifications

Associate degree required.
CRRT (RRT) certification required.
Basic Life Support certification required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in special procedures or radiographic imaging.
Experience in advanced life support and surgical techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with evaluation, preparation and after care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, invasive vascular, or electrophysiology procedures.
Prepare, calibrate and operate all equipment used during procedures (physiologic recorder, x-ray equipment, film processor, life support equipment).
Perform quality assurance and maintain related documentation for x-ray equipment, film processor and lead aprons.
Monitor documentation related to radiation exposure of HVIL staff.
Monitor records, processes and interpret intracardiac pressures & electrocardiographic signals during procedures.
