Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking an Interventional Procedures Radiology Tech for per diem status. The role supports the lab team during diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, with a typical start around 6:30 am.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT and IEMA certifications, a 2-year allied health degree, BLS, and ACLS within 1 year, with prior Cath Lab experience strongly preferred. RCIS is a plus and on-call readiness is required.

Qualifications

• Certifications: ARRT and IEMA required.
• RCIS preferred.
• Education: 2-year degree in an allied health field from an accredited school or equivalent.
• CPR: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS within 1 year.
• Experience: Previous Cath Lab experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and clinical duties as part of the laboratory team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor cardiac rhythm and hemodynamic waveform; document procedures.
• Provide monitoring during cardiogenic shock, acute MI, and cardiac arrest.
• Interpret EKG rhythm disorders and waveform abnormalities.
• Maintain patient records and procedure logs; complete documentation for procedures.
