Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Bellflower, CA is seeking a per diem Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians in interventional procedures at our surgery center. The role requires preparing rooms, maintaining sterile technique, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring accurate documentation and equipment readiness.

Weekend and Saturday coverage is required, with hours as needed. The candidate should have ARRT certification or state licensure, with 4–6 years of related experience

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification or state licensure in interventional radiology.
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures and C-Arm/ultrasound equipment.
• Proficiency in sterile technique, universal precautions, and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Set up and stock procedure rooms and trays with required supplies.
• Assist physician as scrub with fluoroscopy to visualize vessels while maintaining sterile technique.
• Handle patient transfers, positioning, and documentation; ensure accurate CPT/ICD9 coding and billing.
