Job summary

Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization, Inc. seeks a per-diem internal medicine physician to join the International Patient Services Division.

The role involves primary and focused care for international patients visiting Boston for medical care, with coordination across multiple clinical teams and external partners. Reports to the Medical Director, MGB International, with duties including rounds, care coordination, and executive physical exams.

Qualifications

• Licensed and board-certified internal medicine physician in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of practice preferred.
• Eligible for clinical privileges in internal medicine at both BWH and MGH.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary and focused care management to international patients in Boston.
• Rounds on international inpatients weekly at BWH and MGH with care coordination focus.
• Coordinates care between multiple specialties across MGB.
• Communicates with referring physicians, embassy coordinators, and other stakeholders.
• Participates in QA/QI reviews of international patient cases.
• Conducts executive physical exams for international patients per guidelines.
• Occasional travel may be required.
