Job summary

Geisinger is offering a per diem Inpatient RN position at Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV). The role includes market-leading pay with up to a $7 differential for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Per diem status provides flexibility while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy clinical environment.

Education requirements include graduation from a nursing specialty program and PA RN licensure with BLS. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) and BLS certification are required/expected.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.
• Formulates, coordinates, and provides plan of care with education and discharge planning.
