Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a licensed psychotherapist to provide coverage on an as-needed basis for adult inpatient rehabilitation across multiple facilities in the Charlotte metro area.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, full state licensure, and at least 2 years of clinical experience. CPI and CPR training are required for inpatient psychiatric settings; holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant human services field and full licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience; CPI and CPR training required for inpatient psych.
• Experience with grief, trauma, and adjustment issues preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and evaluates patient care according to identified needs.
• Manages clients in crisis utilizing appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques.
• Writes discharge plans and coordinates with guardians and community agencies.
• Documents patient care accurately in medical records and billing information.
• Delivers patient education and collaborates with healthcare team for outcomes.
