Hebrew SeniorLife in Boston, MA is seeking an inpatient pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in the safe delivery of pharmacy services, including medication preparation, distribution, and regulatory compliance.

This per diem position offers flexible scheduling with shifts including weekends and holidays. You will maintain accurate records, use pharmacy information systems, and collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely patient care.

Competenze

• Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy: Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern. Certification is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site with per diem shifts, including weekends/evenings/holidays.

Mansioni

• Prepares medications accurately and in a timely manner, including labeling and repackaging.
• Delivers medications to storage and patient care areas.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and documentation.
• Communicates effectively with pharmacy staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Responds to and triages hospital staff and vendors.
• Uses pharmacy information systems and automation to support workflow.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacist.
