Hebrew SeniorLife in Boston, MA is seeking an inpatient pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services. Responsibilities include medication preparation, distribution, regulatory compliance, and maintaining pharmacy records.

The role requires flexibility for per diem shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays per department needs, and involves teamwork with pharmacy staff and other departments.

Formación

• Massachusetts Pharmacy license as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern.
• Certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares medications accurately and in a timely manner, including labeling and repackaging.
• Delivers medications to appropriate storage and patient care areas with proper handling.
• Maintains regulatory documentation and participates in inspections.
• Communicates effectively with pharmacy staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Responds to calls from staff and vendors; provides professional service.
• Uses pharmacy information systems and automation to support workflow.
• Performs additional duties as assigned and adheres to policies.
