Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse (RN) to deliver direct nursing care within our inpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment programs in Gilman, IL. Per-diem schedule with on-site responsibilities, supporting medical providers and nursing leadership. Active IL RN license and inpatient experience preferred; EMR documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Illinois.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum two years nursing experience; inpatient behavioral health or substance use preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of medical provider.
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and admission documentation.
• Administer medications and provide education as indicated.
• Monitor psychiatric symptoms and safety; report changes to leadership.
• Transcribe and implement provider orders accurately in EMR.
