Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to deliver direct nursing care in our inpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment programs. The RN will support medical providers, nursing leadership, and the treatment team while ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

The role is on-site in Gilman, IL with a per-diem schedule and compensation of $40–$42 per hour. The Staff Nurse reports to the Director of Nursing and contributes to patient safety and

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Illinois.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience; inpatient substance use/mental health preferred.
• Experience with EMR and medical documentation.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of medical staff.
• Complete nursing assessments and admission documentation within timeframes.
• Administer medications and provide education as indicated.
• Monitor patients for psychiatric symptoms and safety; respond to changes.
• Transcribe and implement provider orders accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and treatment teams.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and HIPAA compliance.
