Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care, including examination and treatment under an approved protocol.
• Utilize the nursing process to implement goal-directed nursing care for a defined group of patients.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to appropriate leaders.
• Educate patients/family regarding condition, treatment, discharge planning and follow up.
• Perform nursing skills per physician orders and hospital policies.
• Communicate with physicians and other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to emergencies per procedures.
• Maintain and document patient records accurately.
• Provide clinical leadership and assist in orientation of new staff.
