Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse to assess patients, educate families, coordinate care, and administer chemotherapy and infusions. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, adherence to clinical guidelines, and thorough documentation of charges for services rendered.

Preference will be given to per diem candidates able to cover 1–2 shifts weekly in the Boston area, supporting safe, high-quality cancer care across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in MA or NH as appropriate; BLS required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing strongly preferred; BSN within 4 years for associates degree holders.
• Experience in ambulatory and/or oncology settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert, evidence-based nursing care to oncology/hematology patients and families.
• Administer chemotherapy and other infusions per ASCO/ONS guidelines and institute policy.
• Coordinate care, educate patients and families, document charges, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
